Guided meditations can help us to pause, rest, focus and deeply experience the present moment of our life. As a practice, they remind us to come back to ourselves over and over, so that resting our presence in our body becomes a habit.

Enfolding in care

This is a guided meditation to surround a loved one with our care and support.

The inspiration for this practice came from being with the family and friends of a person experiencing a difficult situation. When a person in our life is facing an illness, bereavement or another challenge, we may feel that there is very little that we can do. But we are never helpless.

Generating and sending our care and support to another is a powerful action. And in offering unconditional kindness, we can also experience the soothing joy that comes from being able to help - even a little.

Feel free to pause the recording whenever you need more time. You might also feel inspired to write or draw as a way of connecting deeply with this gift of care. You may even want to gift the person with a message or drawing.

May this practice help us to feel connected and supportive of our loved ones.
