Orlaith is currently working on Mortal Treasures, a thriller set in New York.
The peaceful daily life of The Cloisters museum is shattered by murder. Curator Amy Harrington is caught up in
the investigation, exposing the seamy underbelly of antiquities dealing.
She is also writing an adaptation of Charlotte Lennox's The Female Quixote.

short stories
Her short stories cross many genres, but often have a touch of the fabulist.
The crime story 'Gilt' appears in the Fish Anthology 2007, and 'A Tall Tale'
appears in the summer issue of The Stinging Fly.

fiction aside...
In addition to writing academic articles and reviews, Orlaith has edited several books,
mainly for The British Library. They include:

> a Bibliography of Robert Graves
> She was also consultant editor and contributor for the first
Time Out Guide to Dublin
Orlaith also works as a ghostwriter.
